This online course is aimed at anyone who wants an insight into how the electricity market works and how the energy sector is regulated.

The course does not require prior knowledge of the electricity market. People who already have insight into the electricity market can use the course to gain hands-on experience with the electricity market. This happens because we use the Power Market Simulator model on the course.

The target group is students of social sciences and natural sciences as well as employees in the energy sector.

The course has been developed under the auspices of the University of Southern Denmark and supported with funds from the E-learning pool.
